We are delighted to introduce the visionary leaders behind Tru Stu, a dynamic cultural association dedicated to fusing artistic development with social change: Luther Castro Castro and Tomás Miguel Sandoval Mora.

Visionary Co-Founder & President, Music Producer – Tru Stu
Luther Castro Castro is the co-founder and president of the cultural association Tru Stu, which leverages the power of music and art for social transformation in the Málaga community. Drawing on his experience in music production, he built Tru Stu on the core belief that local talent needs community, professional training, and ethical frameworks. He actively leads initiatives like Caminata de la Tru (focused on wellness and digital mindfulness) and Cusha Fem (focused on correcting gender imbalance in the arts). Under his leadership, Tru Stu has successfully launched multidisciplinary cultural events, secured resources through strategic alliances, and established a collaborative leadership model to professionalize emerging artists, demonstrating that cultural associations can drive both artistic excellence and profound social impact.

Born in Ecuador and raised in the USA, Tomás Mora—known artistically as Tom Aura—brings a global perspective to his craft, blending Latin and American influences into a distinctive sound that transcends genre. His music reflects a deep exploration of identity, culture, and emotion through intricate lyricism and innovative production.
As co-founder and treasurer of Tru Stu, a registered cultural association based in Málaga, Tom channels his creative vision into building platforms that nurture collaboration and artistic growth. Alongside his team, he works to empower emerging artists through education, community projects, and multidisciplinary events that connect music, art, and social consciousness.
Driven by authenticity and experimentation, Tom Aura continues to expand his artistry while contributing to Tru Stu’s mission of redefining how creative communities thrive and evolve.”

Our mission is to boost your talent by offering training and mentorship in production, mixing, composition, and sound design to help you grow as an artist. We build community by serving as a meeting point for producers, rappers, vocalists, and digital creators, a space to collaborate, find support, and create meaningful synergies.

Our vision is to connect cultures through an open and inclusive approach to creativity. We actively promote the participation of women in the industry, fight against discrimination, and work for social inclusion. As your gateway to Europe, we also manage European projects, including Erasmus+, to encourage mobility and international artistic exchange.

A Multidisciplinary Cultural Showcase (Scale-Up Opportunity)

Cusha Fest

Cusha Fest is Tru Stu's flagship multidisciplinary mini-festival, dedicated to celebrating and elevating Málaga’s vibrant artistic scene. We transform local venues into dynamic hubs where music, visual arts, and craftsmanship intersect.

After successfully hosting two sold-out editions, featuring local musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds, live painters, and artisan stands, we are ready to scale. We are currently seeking strategic partnerships and sponsorship to expand Cusha Fest into a 2–3 day regional event. This expansion will provide an essential platform for Andalusian artists to connect, professionalise, and engage new audiences, reinforcing Málaga’s position as a European cultural capital.

Spotlighting Women in the Arts

Cusha Fem applies the successful, multidisciplinary format of Cusha Fest with a crucial mission: to create a dedicated platform that provides visibility, opportunity, and professional spotlight to local female musicians, artisans, dancers, and photographers. This event addresses the gender gap in the music and arts industries by actively showcasing female talent. Scheduled to take place at the Contenedor de la UMA (University of Málaga) on January 22nd, Cusha Fem is a direct commitment to gender equality and social impact, a key priority for Responsibility Social Corporative (RSC) partners and European funding bodies.

Digital Pulse (In collaboration with Otros Topos)

Bridging Human & Machine
Malaga, Spain

Digital Pulse is an immersive audio-visual dialogue and performance that explores the harmonious relationship between "flesh and code." This collaboration between artists Tom Aura and KYUBA features rhythms and generative visuals in a symbiotic dance between human and machine, past and future. The project serves as a compelling exploration of digital transformation in music production and a reflection on human connection in the digital age. We present this project as an example of artistic innovation and an ideal content package for European funding initiatives focused on digital culture.

The Cypher de la Tru is a community-driven initiative designed to spotlight and professionalize emerging local musical talent, primarily within the hip-hop and urban music scenes. This is more than a jam session; it is a curated showcase that provides a high-quality platform for artists to perform, network, and receive exposure. With the successful launch of our first cypher and a strong roster of artists lined up, we are planning the second cypher for the beginning of 2026. We seek partners to help scale the production value and transform this showcase into a regular series, making it a critical entry point for new talent into the professional music circuit.
