Words As Worlds (WAW)

Training Course | 17–23 February 2026 | Mühlhausen, Thüringen, Germany.

Words As Worlds (WAW) brought together 27 youth workers from four European countries for a 5-day intensive training course in Mühlhausen, Germany. The programme focused on language-conscious youth work, inclusive pedagogy, identity and belonging, and arts-based communication tools. Through experiential and collaborative methods, participants co-created drafts of 10 practical workshop methodologies to strengthen inclusive and linguistically aware youth work practices across Europe. The course integrated accessibility measures, assistive technology, and diverse learning formats, ensuring inclusion was embedded in both theory and practice.

Migration: The Need to Breath.

CeYoutha is a local initiative of the PPA project in Ceuta, Spain, that brings together youth and community members through performing arts. Using dance, puppetry, mime, and video, participants will share their stories, celebrate Ceuta’s culture, and address migration and integration challenges. This project aims to create a space where young people can express themselves, connect with others, and share their experiences through art. It encourages understanding, cooperation, and community growth.

KAMM GRAND OPENING.

On September 21, 2023, we held our grand opening event which too place at the NANAI Restaurante - Espacio cultural in Madrid, taking attendees on a captivating journey into the world of art and social mediation. The event showcased the organisations past projects, future aspirations, and international collaborations with special guests like Robert Nesirky, Amal Hussein Ismail, Mario Salas, and Almudena Salort Orpi, creating a wellspring of inspiration. The event was filled with exciting activities, including a bingo session led by Alex Perestroyka and a lively Spanish rhythm competition hosted by Mario Salas de Rueda. The event hosts, Kelvin Akpaloo and Marta Ribeiro, kept the energy high and the audience engaged throughout the evening. The grand finale featured mesmerizing performances by Diego Barrera and Jenny Bilogo, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. Overall, the grand opening was a celebration of art, culture, and unity that will be remembered as a whirlwind of creativity and inspiration.

One World Week in Ireland was a week of youth-led awareness raising, instruction, critical engagement with issues, and action. This video was released as a part of that week.

One World Week is a week of youth-led awareness raising, education, critical engagement with issues, and action, and this video's release is a part of that week. Young people gain knowledge about regional, societal, and international justice issues during One World Week and take steps to effect change. This poem was written and edited by Kelvin Akpaloo (Vice-Chairperson on K.A.E) in collaboration with the National Youth Council of Ireland as part of their Youth 2030 program.

A program that aims to improve the integration, caliber, and reach of global youth work and development education in non-formal youth work organizations, programs, and organizations. Its objective is to develop a policy and practice environment that is empowering and transparent for international youth work at the national, European, and international levels.

Kelvin have been in constant collaboration with NYCI for numerous projects and it was a please for a member of K.A.E to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing organisation.
