Project Details
The GreenCademy Youth Exchange will take place from 16–27 August 2026 at Burg Tannroda in Bad Berka, Germany. The project will welcome 30 participants aged 18–26, together with one group leader from each participating country. Young people from Germany, Spain, Italy, Romania, and Poland will come together to share experiences, learn from one another, and build an international network committed to sustainability.
Project Objectives
GreenCademy aims to inspire young people to become more environmentally conscious by exploring innovative approaches to sustainable agriculture and climate action. Throughout the exchange, participants will gain practical knowledge about regenerative and holistic farming, strengthen their entrepreneurial thinking through design-thinking methodologies, and exchange ideas with peers from across Europe. The project also encourages intercultural cooperation while equipping participants with skills they can apply in their own communities to promote more sustainable lifestyles.
-
The programme combines educational workshops with hands-on experiences and outdoor learning. Participants will engage in team-building activities that foster trust and cooperation, take part in design-thinking workshops focused on sustainable agriculture, and explore regenerative farming practices through practical sessions. Reflection groups, intercultural exchanges, collaborative project work, and hiking activities will further enrich the learning experience while encouraging participants to develop creative solutions for environmental challenges.
-
Participants will stay at the historic Burg Tannroda, a renovated castle complex surrounded by nature. Accommodation will be in shared tents with a maximum of two participants per tent, while indoor and outdoor bathroom facilities will be available throughout the stay. The Erasmus+ programme fully covers accommodation and three daily meals, offering vegetarian, vegan, and halal options. As part of the community spirit of the exchange, participants will also contribute to shared cooking and cleaning activities during the project.
-
Travel costs will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ funding rules using the applicable distance bands and upon submission of all required travel documents. For participants travelling from Spain, the maximum reimbursement is €417 for Green Travel and €309 for standard travel. All travel arrangements should be coordinated with KAMM Artistic Europe before booking tickets to ensure eligibility for reimbursement.
