A Creative Extravaganza: Recap of the Grand Opening of KAMM Artistic Europe.

On the 21st September 2023, the people of Madrid and Europe witnessed an unforgettable event as KAMM Artistic Europe welcomed enthusiasts and artists to their grand opening. It was a night filled with creativity, inspiration, and excitement, and here's a recap of the highlights from this remarkable evening.

The event kicked off with a captivating presentation by Kelvin Akpaloo, shedding light on the origins and journey of the association. Attendees learned about the roots of KAMM Artistic Europe, setting the stage for an evening of discovery and celebration.

One of the event's main attractions was the screening of KAMM's Comfy Couch podcast videos, hosted by the charismatic Alex Perestroyka. These videos showcased insightful conversations with artists, professors, Journalists, students etc… adding depth and dimension to the artistic journey with focus on the Substainable Development Goals .

Marta Ribeiro took the stage to present "La Voz Joven" videos, which offered a glimpse into the youthful perspectives on the streets of Madris with the host of the show Iviyana Doncheva community. It was an eye-opening experience that highlighted the views of the next generation of Spain.

A highlight of the evening was the screening of "Bridges not Wall - Reducing Inequalities (Race and Origin) - AKWAABA Documentary." Presented by Kelvin Akpaloo, this documentary featured young people from across Europe sharing their views on their origins and the issues surrounding race and inequality. It was a powerful testament to the importance of artistic expression in addressing critical social issues.

Throughout the event, discussions revolved around past projects, future initiatives, and exciting international collaborations. The Erasmus Plus program was a hot topic, with attendees learning about the opportunities it offers for young people, artistic growth and exchange. Of course, the event wouldn't have been complete without its incredible lineup of special guests. Robert Nesirky from CGE Erfurt e.V. (Germany) and Amal Hussein Ismail from Conciencia-Afro (Spain) brought their unique perspectives to the event, enriching the experience for all attendees. Mario Salas and Almudena Salort Orpi participants from the BNWs project added an extra layer of excitement to the evening.

The entertainment factor was on point throughout the event. Alex Perestroyka hosted an engaging bingo session that had everyone on their toes, and Mario Salas de Rueda kept the beat alive with a spirited Spanish rhythm competition. Kelvin Akpaloo and Marta Ribeiro were the perfect hosts, ensuring that the energy and enthusiasm never waned.

As the night drew to a close, the audience was treated to amazing singing performances by Diego Barrera and Jenny Bilogo, leaving everyone in awe.
