The Young Voices of Africa is a diverse and dynamic group of young people (Youth Leaders) across the African continent and African Diaspora who are making their voices heard on various issues that affect their communities and the continent as a whole.

They are actively involved in shaping the future of Africa, using their creativity, innovation, and passion to tackle the challenges they face in their communities and the continent as a whole.

Our mission and objectives .

As a group of young people in Africa, our mission and objectives is to work towards the development, empowerment, and success of young people in Africa. Here are our mission and objectives as group:

  • To promote the development of Africa by empowering young people with the skills and resources needed to succeed in their personal and professional lives and creating space where their voice will be heard on the local, national and global level.

  • ● To provide resources and training opportunities for young people in Africa, with a focus on building skills and fostering leadership qualities.

    ● To advocate for policies and programs that support the development of Africa, particularly with a focus on youth.

    ● To improve access to education in Africa, particularly for underserved communities.

    3. Education: Improving access to education in Africa, particularly for underserved communities. This will involve initiatives such as partnering with educational institutions to improve access to quality education.

    4. Skilled Development: Promote skill development among young people in Africa, particularly in areas such as youth work, technology, business, and innovation. This involves partnerships with industry leaders and educational institutions both within and outside Africa.

Creating spaces for the rest of the world to view Africa from our perspective: This is done by creating and curating content that showcases the richness and diversity of African cultures and communities. This involves cultural events, art exhibitions, Youth conferences or summits and other creative platforms that allow the world to experience African culture and perspectives.

Connecting with the rest of the world to have an open dialogue: Engaging in dialogue and building relationships with individuals and organizations outside of Africa is critical for fostering mutual understanding and collaboration.This is achieved through partnerships, mentorship programs, and international exchange programs that connect young people from Africa with their peers around the world.

    9. Development: Providing access to resources and opportunities for skills development and personal growth is essential to empowering young people in Africa. This will be achieved through initiatives such as mentorship programs,

    entrepreneurship training, leadership development, and access to education and job opportunities.

Social Issues.

As a group some of the issues they address include youth and community development, social justice, human rights and sustainable development goals, climate change, entrepreneurship, education, and healthcare. They use various mediums such as social media, activism, art, research, public speaking and creative media to amplify their voices and advocate for change.

Overall, the Young Voices of Africa represent a critical force for positive change on the continent. Their energy, creativity, and determination offer hope for a brighter future for Africa and the world.
